At 34 weeks I feel like I have been pregnant for about 100 years.

However, even though I am uncomfy a lot, time does rather seem to be speeding up. Have lots of weird nesting urges and am desperate to wash all the weeny clothes I have bought. Also suffering strange urge to go round spraying Dettox on every drawer knob and cupboard door in the house.

6 weeks of this may drive me and dh potty.

MrsBadger · 26/07/2007 17:54

yes but no but yes...

Sometimes it seems ages since I (eg) slept on my front / ate pate / had a glass of wine, and it certainly feels like a looong while ago that we moved bedrooms to build the nursery...
but it doesn't seem long at all since I broke it to my colleagues, and certainly not long since I was giving up my seat on the bus for old ladies.
Damn mat jeans are still falling down though

ah well, 27 days left...
[would crap self were it not for iron-tab-enhanced constipation]

Actually that's what i can do to pass the time wash and iron baby clothes. Thanks for the good idea!

I go through stages of thinking it's dragging and i've been pregnant since the dawn of time and then blind panic that it's gone too fast! I'm guess the hormones are aiding that!

Am also walking around with my 4 in 1 dettol spray attacking anything i think is unclean! Will drive myself and family insane shortly!

Somehow, it does suddenyl feel like it MIGHT just happen -as i sort out my clothes, and gaze wistfully at those beloved size 8 trousers....... and the bikini which will be hidden for years while I work on the ever increasing sretchmarks.....

BabyMadandBIGbump · 27/07/2007 10:00

39 weeks today I HAVE BEEN pg forever, and the fact that it tuck DH and I 18 month TC doesn't help LOL! I keep telling my LO that he or she is fully cooked but LO doesn't seem to be getting the message!

lizziemun · 27/07/2007 10:16

Yes am 35weeks, and so fed up with carry around a 14lb bowling ball .

and why do i keep forgetting, i go to bend down to get something and can't bend over. It is so annoying.

Vicx · 27/07/2007 15:11

Quite like my bump, beats worrying about having a fat tummy anyway! But sick to death of the constant heartburn and exhaustion!

[wistful sigh]

(thank god for pedicures, eh?)

hotcrumpets · 27/07/2007 15:48

38 wks here, and every hour seems like an eternity

Loads of backache yesterday and a few crampy contractions then nothing.........

DD is shouting come out baby to my bump in an attempt to lure him out, I can't even think of the possibility of going overdue

bananabump · 27/07/2007 16:03

8 days to go. I didn't actually find out til about 10 weeks in so I'm lucky compared to those who were TTC, but still feels like forever.

I want him out so much I actually feel quite down about it now. The novelty of being this big has definitely worn off.

boompi · 30/07/2007 15:14

39 weeks(by my count) 38 by scan. Feels like a year since I found out I was preg!
I hate not being able to walk without waddling, cant bend over, cant sleep on tummy...it goes on.
And so looking forward to a lovely big piece of blue cheese and a glass of wine.
NEVER wished dd was 'back inside' as people told me I would!

sweetkitty · 30/07/2007 15:25

Most of you are at the end now I'm only 8 weeks and it's all stretching out in front of me, I found out 5 days before AF due as well so already feels like I've been pregnant forever.

I've been (since Nov 2003) pregnant-breastfeeding-pregnant-breastfeeding had a 3 month break and am now pregnant again. This is the last one!

MrsMar · 30/07/2007 18:01

I'm nearly 33 weeks and feel like I've been pg forever... even more so when I think I haven't had a period since 15th December. Seems like an age ago. Still there was I complaining my life was flashing away, has slowed to a crawl now!

PeckaRolloverAgain · 30/07/2007 18:03

im only 19 weeks and still feel like ive alreayd been pregnant forever!

thebigSea · 30/07/2007 18:08

and when people ask you how long you've got to go and you say 'oh, seven weeks now' they respond with a 'oh, wow, not long then'
and you feel like slapping the smile of their faces.SEVEN WEEKS IS AN ETERNITY when you are massive, sore and it's the summer holidays...

whompingwillowinthedewmeadow · 30/07/2007 18:13

my baby is 2 weeks old and I have a DD (3) and DS (1) and feel like I have been pregnant for 4 years!!

there is not a day goes by since DD was born that I dont thank the gods that I am not pregnant anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MrsMar · 30/07/2007 18:15

oooh I'm so jealous! I'd like to press the fast forward button and skip the next 7 weeks, ideally I'd like to jump forward 9 weeks. Oh how lovely to not be huge any more. I'm going to hop skip and jump home from the hospital (so long as I'm not stitched up like a sunday roast )

whompingwillowinthedewmeadow · 30/07/2007 18:17

well still huge, but in a different way!! Im just squashy now!!

Good luck to you all!! Its worth the hell!
