I'm 8w now and honestly I feel hungry all the time. And when I don't eat I feel sick... Hmm I know you don't need to eat more than your usual intake but I can't help but feel hungry. Anyone else?

If you are hungry eat but eat sensibly if possible. Make sure the stuff you eat is rich in vitamins and minerals rather than just junk food if it doesn't make you sick.

This was me. I put on a stone by the time I was 12 weeks Blush(not advising this obviously). I'm normally 10st and 5"7. I felt like I was starving and if I didn't snack constantly on plain carbs I was vomiting all the time. The weight has almost all come off again now that baby is 9 months if that is any consolation!

Yes it's very common.

All the fucking time. 6 weeks ago I was extremely fit. Now I exercise (slowly) once a week if I'm lucky, and I have the biggest gut I've had in my life. I used to not eat cakes/sweets/white bread, now my diet is crap or I end up retching. (dh is doing a pretty good job of getting nutrients into my evening meals, otherwise I'd be living off pizza) I'm so tired i dread waking up each morning.

I understand that my pregnancy symptoms are very much on the mild end Confused

Yes! I'm 8+3 and have been nauseous and starving for the last couple of weeks. I'm trying to eat little and often to keep my blood sugar level, mostly snacking on fruit and yogurts, instead of chocolate or biscuits.

Yes Hun completely normal! I'm 11+5 and can't stop eating which is fine for me as I've never been a sit down meal girl more of a grazer just conscious about going for healthier options rather than crappy foods! I did have between 6-8 weeks where I was throwing up alot so making up for that now but listen to your body if your hungry eat!!! I'm really enjoy carrot sticks and dip as a snack, keeps me going!!! Xx

Yes, same for me too! I used to have days where I was so busy my first meal could be 3pm now I'm awake starving by 7am Hmm with constant nausea-that is settled by eating. Blush

I'm 9+7 and hoping the nausea will abate so I can eat less again. I'm trying to snack healthy (tend to graze anyway when working) but the carb cravings are intense!

I know I've put on 1/2 stone but my weight can fluctuate by that in a month anyway. I'm 5'7 and 10st ish generally but happy to hear this may head off! Grin

Daffodil2491 · 28/06/2019 19:44

I was the same! I’m 24 weeks tomorrow, hungry all the time and if I didn’t eat I felt I’ll, not sickly otherwise though. I had to eat smaller meals and snacks more often, just had to be careful how many lol. Congratulations and go with what your body is telling you x x

tisonlymeagain · 28/06/2019 19:46

Yes, 8+2 and starving all the time but the upside is I also feel sick all the time so I'm eating minimal. I think I've lost about 5-6lbs since being pregnant (which is good really, I am about 2 stone overweight)

I had to take a banana to bed every night so that when I woke up starving at 3am I could just eat it and go back to sleep!
