Hey all, just wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation to me and any advice.

I'm working in a really difficult job at the moment, causing a lot of stress and sadness, feels like I'm constantly thinking about it and just not having a good time, feel like my self esteem and confidence is none existent because of it.. I'll be going on maternity leave in about 4 months and obviously I can't leave and get another job because I'm pregnant! I just feel so trapped and have no idea what to do.. Any advice?

sorry for your situation.
all the stress may not be good for the baby.
does the father support you?

I was in this position and honestly when I started to struggle I changed my mentality to "f*ck this, my baby needs to come first."
You'll be amazed how easy it is to take a step back when you rearrange your priorities.

Of course you can get another job, I interviewed a very heavy pregnant woman. She wasn’t good but I would’ve given her the job if she was. Or do you mean in terms of maternity benefits? I guess that’s a different ball game and if that is the case stick it out and apply for jobs whilst you’re on your maternity leave!

If you're truly stressed go to the doctors and get signed off sick for a while, until you are able to cope again. Then reevaluate your job situation after baby.
