Cervix pain

Hi all, 36 weeks pregnant. Baby is 2/5ths engaged and I’m having some very sharp pains in my cervix. Anybody else experienced this? Feels as if it’s being gouged! The only way I can describe it!

I had the same with my son from 30weeks onwards. It was worse when I walked for a long time or did something strenuous . Sometimes it was like a stabbing pain. Midwife told me it was normal, but u should ask yours, just in case. C
