I'm. Suffering big time. What's best if anything to take.?
Avoiding go as seems pointless and a waste of time if I can just buy something?

Or you could just buy generic loratidine at a cheaper price

I was prescribed Loratidine by the GP for prickly heat and found it fine, stopped taking it after like 2 days though as it cleared up pretty quickly.

I'd stopped taking mine as I was struggling to find any clear advice/guidance and I was reeeeealy struggling with it.

I ended up needing an early scan at 9 weeks and it was an obstetrician that scanned me... at the end she asked if i had any questions and I asked about hayfever treatments.

Her medical advice was that a 1 a day standard antihistamine like cetirizine or loratidine are fine to take. I take the former and she said it was ok to start again.

The only one thing she did say was to make sure I take it at night as it can make you very drowsy in pregnancy even if it didn't before!

I've been taken the occasional certirizine tablet when my hay fever has been really, really bad. My midwife said that one and loratadine are the preferred choices but to try and go without if you can.

One thing I have noticed is that on the days I take certirizine (only taken it 3x) it COMPLETELY eradicates my morning sickness, fatigue and general crap pregnancy feelings (I'm 9 weeks). If I knew it was 100% ok I'd take the stuff every day but the fact that it does this scares me more to be honest as its like it disrupts the pregnancy hormone or something
