When Should I See a Midwife???

I found out I was pregnant at 4 weeks and 2 days. I went to the doctors on Monday (I would’ve been 6+3) where they took a sample of my urine and sent off somewhere to confirm my pregnancy. I’m not sure what is going to happen next?

The doctors said as I left “we probably won’t speak to you now until babies born” so it won’t be the doctors contacting me? But they didn’t give me any information on the timescale or who would contact me?

I had exactly the same when I rang to inform my doctors of my positive pregnancy test. They got to me come in and provide a urine sample, sent it off, then said unless I needed them for non pregnancy issues I would be dealt with by the local midwifery team. A few days later I was rang up, pregnancy was confirmed and I was given details of the local midwives, then letters for scans and appointments turned up through the post. Congratulations on your pregnancy! FlowersSmile
