Spotting after orgasm?

I’m nearly 11 weeks and I’ve noticed after sex without orgasm I don’t spot but sex with I seem to spot. I know baby is ok and growing to size as I only had a scan 5 days ago. I’ve spot on and off for the last 5 weeks and I’ve managed to pin point it to this. Should I lay off sex for a bit or could it just be a sensitive cervix?

I've heard from a midwife I know, that it's completely normal. She said some women bleed after sex during pregnancy due to the cervix being very sensitive, as you say. She said nose bleeds and bleeding gums are a result of the same

Bleeding after sex when pregnant is common due to all the extra blood vessels and just generally being a bit more sensitive.

I was the same! Got told to not have sex etc until after 12 weeks!
