Clear blue indicator

Earlier in the week I took a clear blue with date indicator and it said 3+ and then this morning it said 2-3. I’m so worried. An explanation that is going through my head is that I did two wees during the night last night so perhaps my wee was less concentrated this morning. Am I clinging to hope?

I would test again first thing tomorrow morning, I know it's hard but try not to get up during the night and do a wee if you can, the longer you hold it in, it could be more concentrated too!!
Plus HCG should be doubling every 48 hours I think, that's what I've been told anyway, hope you're ok, let us know how you're getting on 😘xx

The weeks indicator are not always right. I wouldn't stress.

I really wouldn’t worry unless you start cramping or bleeding, these tests are the work of the devil, many things can influence the level of HCG in your urine such as how dilute it is, hence why traditional pregnancy tests are designed to simply show whether you are or aren’t pregnant. The clear blue ones just whip up anxiety and I personally feel it’s a pretty shitty marketing tactic adding the weeks indicator as it guarantees women will buy more and more and more of them, when they’re already expensive, believing they’re a guaranteed clinical way to prove the pregnancy is progressing.

Chances are it’s to do with the fact you urinated during night so not as concentrated. But either way, unless it says ‘not pregnant’ you’re good. You’re pregnant. What the clear blue test says isn’t going to change that or change the outcome.

Can I just ask why you took another today when you’d already reached 3+ previously so there was no higher result to be checking for?

Thank you for your replies. I did another test because I’m just an anxious pregnant person after having had fertility treatment to get here. Needless to say I regret taking it in a big way!

Any chance you could take a blood test? It would be more precise.

How many weeks are you exactly? At a certain point hcg levels become so high that they can mess the tests up which is why many women who do a test at 9 months get a BFN!

I would say that decreasing numbers on clearblue has never been good for me however that has generally been before the 6/7 week mark

I just took the other one in the packet and it said 3+ again....!!!
