Been having bits come out like this past 2 days which was why I've put a pad in! I thought it was but had a sudden scare thinking it might not be!

Definitely plug! How many weeks are you? If you’re not contracting or anything then no need to call midwives, but phone if/when your waters break and contractions become regular and intense :)
