Hi I’m now 19 weeks gone and haven’t felt baby move I have an anterior placenta and have been told to feel low down on the sides... I feel and feel but don’t feel anything however I have regular check ups at midwife and she finds the heartbeat and have been to private scans just to make sure she is ok also I just look fat I don’t look like I’m having a baby. I’m wondering if I will get a bump as well... anyone experienced this during pregnancy?... btw this is my 1st child.

I have an anterior placenta and I was about 21 weeks before I felt any movement and even then it was very light flutters mainly at the sides. I’m now 24 weeks and feeling proper kicks and stronger movements but still not loads compared to other people. It’s hard not to worry but it shouldn’t be long till you can feel something x

The position of the placenta won't make a different to when you show, it's just different for everyone. I didn't show until about 21/22 weeks.

I also have anterior placenta and didn't feel movements until about 23 weeks, now I'm 33 weeks and it feels like a gymnast in there!

I have an anterior low placenta and only felt proper movements after 23-24 weeks. Even 2 days before due date I can see my belly moving but not feel it a lot of the time x

22 weeks for me, anterior low-lying placenta. My baby is currently wedged up under my ribs at 30 weeks, kicking the hell out of the other side of my bump.

19 weeks is still early. I did get the first kicks to the sides of my bump like your midwife said!
