My other half has messaged my daughter saying help your mum etc. That’s fine. All nice etc. But she has told me today he’s messaged saying you need to get your s**t together. You’re a good girl with lots going for you but your attitude stinks, you don’t help, if it carries on I’ll walk away.
I brought this up with him saying I thought this was a bit out of order to text to her. I said I’d never text one of your children. He said well mine aren’t s**ts and wouldn’t talk to you like it either. You carry on letting her do what she’s doing.
I’m just shocked. Imagine if he did walk away for other reasons. She would think it’s because of her. She’s nearly 14. Has no proper relationship with her dad. So could do with her having a positive male in her life. Not looking for a dad. Just someone good in her life and this has just peed me right off. Sorry to vent! Xx
