Hi all

I had baby 10 months ago. Since then I have had all over body pain, tender points on joints etc, also Plantar fasciitis. I have recently had pins and needles in hands and feet continuous for 2 weeks, stopped then started again after a 6 week break. Just had MRI ruled out MS and arthritis. But MRI revealed lumber bulged disc and annular tear.

Been having regular physio but not helping. vitamin bloods have all come back clear.

Any other mums suffered from this? I dont take pain killers as its manageable and pins and needles is just annoying.

I've had a prolapse disc. Before my first. I took a year to be diagnosed by which point the worst of the pain and symptoms was over but it was horrendous. I highly recommend Pilates to strengthen your core and also I found the osteopath helped me with other back problems that didn't help my disc issues. Physio appointments didn't help me much but I did notice a difference with Pilates (especially when I stopped doing it!). See if you can find a physio led Pilates class.

It was 6.5 years ago I first had symptoms and I still have the effects. My left foot is still more than the right but I'm just used to it now. My back is also generally more twingey than it ever was before, not helped my not having done Pilates for 18 months And now being pregnant again!
