12 week scan worries

I'm pregnant with my 2nd both have been through ivf. I'm 11 weeks and 1 day. I've already had 3 scans because of a couple of bleeds. I've just got my 12 week scan through and it's not for another 2 weeks and I have this horrible feeling that I will go to my 12 week scan and there will be something wrong. Am I just being stupid feeling like this or is this quite normal? I can't remember feeling like this with my 1st. Thank you in advance x

I’m 11+6 with an IVF pregnancy ( one DD not IVF conceived ) and I’m also convinced that there will be something wrong at the 12 week even though I’ve had three perfect scans! I think it’s reallt very normal to be anxious in every pregnancy, it’s all just heightened after IVF and the struggle to even conceive the baby Flowers

I think it’s perfectly normal. although I’ve not been through ivf I’m pregnant with no.2 and had the same worries. I think with my first although I did have a similar worry (only because it happened to someone I know) I was in a little bubble where everything was so new and exciting. This time round I know what to expect so the exciting things have started to turn to thoughts of “oh but what if..”

I hope your scan goes well!

Op in a day ahead of you with my 2nd and feel the same. Not ivf but I'm aware it took so long to conceive and at the age that this is our last chance.

Your feelings aren't presaged, they're just born of love and fear.

There's a due January board in conception if you want some company
