Big fat positive!!

After trying for 6 years we where told we would never conceive naturally and my only hope was to have ivf..
Well I'm ment to be starting ivf on Monday and felt like something wasn't quite right with me..
Decided to buy a test on the off chance and got a bfp!!
I am so happy but also so scared at the same time..
Iv now had an early scan to make sure it's not ectopic and the sac is in the right place.
Now have to wait another 3 weeks to hear a heart beat.. this is gonna be the longest 3 weeks of my life I think. Has anyone else ever been told they would not conceive naturally then found out they where pregnant?

Congratulations! Our situation wasn't quite the same but we tried for over 3 years with no success. Told we were 'unexplained'. Had one round of ivf which was unsuccessful but I conceived the month after the ivf failed. DD is 4 now. The pregnancy was an anxious ride but we got there. Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months and congratulations again! X

This has happened many times. Doctors don’t always know best. They are always just guessing until they guess right. Of course there are many reasons for infertility. But there are many cases where doctors say it won’t happen and then women fall pregnant.
