I am 37 weeks 4 days pregnant and the heat is getting to me . Anyone in the same boat and found ways to cook self down

I was pregnant during a heat wave. I use to pour myself very cool (maybe not COLD) baths and lie in them 2/3 times a day. It brought my body temperature down and made me feel better. Hope this helps xx

@Helsvamp travel mug from home bargains with ice cold water, metal fan from tesco, frozen hot (cold😜) water bottle, wet flannel.

If all that fails sit in the car with air con on 😂

@Helsvamp I put it in the bed! Live in a new build and even when it cools down outside its still boiling in our bedroom x

Have a shower but don’t dry off too much - stay naked and the water will evaporate off your skin and cool you as it goes.

I was heavily pregnant in a heat wave. When I was too hot to sleep I'd soak a sheet in cold water, wring it out and sleep under that.
