This is my 2nd pg and i'm 31 and half weeks. Last couple weeks I've had dodgy tum i saw doc and he put it down to a bug. Got another appointment with doc at ten. I didn't sleep a wink last night from the pain of piles. Creams are crap and have now started irritating my skin. On top of that i'm anemic and shattered. I pick up my iron tablets today. Someone send me a hug or something!

poor you {{{{{{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} is that better?

if it makes you feel any better i was exactly the same with my second prg when the first one had flown by beautifully!!!! i have found xyloproct to be the best piles cream (on prescription), hope you feel perkier soon.
btw if the iron tablets dont agree with you i can seriously recommend spatone (but you have to buy it from boots/healthfood shop) its much easier on the tummy.

Oh you poor thing! I always felt crap while pregnant, all the people who boasted that they 'sailed through it' were even more annoying than my aches and pains.

I hope the doctor can help you xx

Oh yes indiasmum reminded me - iron tablets! I suffer from anaemia and take iron tablets daily. I've found that if I take good ones from Holland and Barrett they work much better than the cheapo ones you can buy or get on prescription. They don't affect my poo - to my mind that means I am absorbing the iron and not passing it out again (sorry to be graphic)

I was same in my last pg. And i hated the iron tabs so dreading it again I'll mention that cream. Midwife reckons i may have spd thanks for hugs x

I am taking pregnacare and this works well for me as it includes the RDA of iron roo.

Regarding your pile situation, I had them really bad after the birth of DD and even went to see a consultant to get all check out. All was fine but the consultant gave me the following advise:
-Drink at least 2 litres of water a day
-When going to loo NEVER strain and keep all parts relaxed at all and lean your whole body forwards so your pivoted forwards as much as you can (he said this helps healing and the straining will only make them worse)

I tried this and within 1 month my piles had all cleared up and have been back to normal for ages. At first, it took me ages to go, but in the end I just sat there, with a book or something and did not rush.
