I am hoping someone can help! I have ever suffered with bad skin and look after my skin quite well (cleanse, tone, moisturise every night and exfoliate twice w week) however since being pregnant my skin has been awful filled with hard painful deep under the skin spots and also huge red spots on the surface.. it's really getting me down I've tried not to wear makeup to try and ease it abit I understand it's all hormonal but does anyone have any suggestions, possibly a skincare brand that helps with this or any natural remedies? I feel like I've tried a lot and nothing seems to be helping !

I never had bad skin either until the dreaded peri menopause hit. These 3 products sorted out my hormonal spots after spending a small fortune on branded products. Clearasil has salicylic acid in it which is the main ingredient that clears spots.

Worth a try, on sale at boots right now. Good luck.

Realise I doubled up on the toner, I use this wash too. Would be interested to find out how you get on with these if you decide to try.

I’ve had similar problems in this pregnancy and a cousin of mine who is a beautician advised me to try bareminerals. Been using their antiblemish serum for 3 weeks now and my skin seems to have calmed down and no new spots.
Obviously depends on your skin type etc.
The bareminerals serum is fairly pricey but good stuff

@maym iv had acne with this pregnancy iv had to get a treatment of the GP and use nip & fab dragons blood serum along side it, if I don't use it daily my jaw line side burns chin and neck are covered 😟

I also use a tea tree foaming wash I got from home bargains for £1.99 I think! My usual expensive face wash didn't break me out but wasn't helping either were as this will help with the bacteria x

Mine was awful in my first pregnancy, back and chest spots. Didn't clear until after birth. I blamed the old wives tale that girls steal your beauty...
