8 weeks and bleeding

Has anyone experienced this and gone on to have a healthy pregnancy? I’ve had bright red bleeding but only when I wipe, and it seemed to stop very quickly. No pain or cramps but I don’t feel as sick as I have for the past few weeks. I’ve been to the EPU and they did a urine test and said it was all normal (didn’t ask what they were testing for?) apart from some ketones in my urine. They’ve booked me in for a scan on Wednesday but that feels like years away right now. Sorry I’m rambling, I just feel so worried and sad.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

They would have likely been testing for signs of infection or increased markers, as well as checking your HCG (ie that you had a positive pregnancy test).

Your scan is the only real test that will confirm a positive outcome or not.

But I had a horrendous bleed at 7w, I had enormous clots and I convinced myself that I’d seem foetal tissue in that. Three days later, a TVUS confirmed a heartbeat.

I also had no cramping or pain. Think positive, I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you ❤️💐

Thank you Sessy, it’s very reassuring to hear a positive outcome. Just hope I get good news!
