Conception one month after miscarriage. Am I pregnant?!

Hi all. I hope I don’t sound crazy. I’m gonna grab a test in a couple days and see if I can get an answer. But in the meantime, you lovely ladies on mumsnet can perhaps help to ease my mind!

So on 20th May, I unfortunately got it confirmed that I’d miscarried at almost 9 weeks.
My periods are regular and I am due 20th. I have not started my period yet, meaning I am almost 4 days late. I strongly considered that this could just be my body getting back into the kick of things. However I have suffered 2 miscarriages already, and each time I have rhythmically gone back to my regular periods without any issues.
I have been suffering with cramps over the past 2 weeks ish. They mostly feel like little niggles, but sometimes I do end up going to the bathroom to check if I’ve come on...to find that everything’s all good! I have also been experiencing nausea (which went away before I miscarried, so this is starting again all new), and am peeing a hell of a lot (grrr), and maaaaan my boobs are sore! They feel sensitive to the touch and very heavy, so it kinda hurts when I walk too! Oh and I’ve got some extra discharge too (sorry TMI)... everything like I had before when I was pregnant, which all went away leading up to my miscarriage.

What’s going on here? Am I pregnant do you think? I know that some people say about the minimal wait before trying again should be after your first period after the miscarriage, but that you can ovulate as soon as 2 weeks after you’ve miscarried. So it could be a possibility. But... really?

Please share any experiences...

Thanks!! X

I have two DC who were conceived right after miscarriages like that. Take a test.

First off I'm sorry about your miscarriages. Flowers

Its definitely possible. I had to have an induced miscarriage in March at 12 weeks due to discovering the baby had hydrops and Turners Syndrome - I fell pregnant again only two weeks after I stopped bleeding, must have been the first time I ovulated afterwards because I didn't even have a period in between. I'm 11 weeks now.

I'd read about it happening quickly for others and desperately wanted it to happen to me, but realistically I didn't think it would. I was so shocked when it did!

Lots of luck OP, do tell us how you get on. Smile

Thanks for your comments ladies!! I think I ovulated the same like you too. Hope it’s good news! I’ll post as soon as I know. :)
