6 weeks and bleeding!

Has anyone been through the same around 6 weeks. (I have been to my GP I'm being referred to early pregnancy unit tomorrow but my mind hasn't settled since friday). On Tuesday we had intercourse. Wednesday I woke up with a slight brown tinge to my CFand the same again all Thursday. Friday morning it changed to a dark red. All day every time I went for a wee and wiped it was dark red. That evening I put a pad on and over night it probably filled 3/4 of it with a dark red. Saturday morning it changed to bright red. A little more when I go to toilet then usual still not much in a pad. Today it's less heavier but still a brighrr red. Ice had period pain on and off since finding out I was pregnant and maybe a little more since the bleed. I have had sore boobs the whole pregnancy so far and itchy and dry nips. The boobs aren't sore but still slightly itchy so I have lost one of the symptoms of pregnancy I was showing. Please has anyone had anything similar and still had their baby? I'm so scared but deep down I do think I've lost my baby :(

@Chantel17 sorry to say that's how my MC happened started with a brown tinge to CM then red blood and clots when I weed. I had no bleeding on a pad or pain though. I really hope everything is ok for you

I’ve had this 3 times ... 2 went on to be be MC at ~6 weeks but the third resulted in a healthy full term baby. I continued to bleed at 6,8,9,10 and 19 weeks and was constantly try on knicker watch. Irritated ‘fragile cells’ in my external cervix (cells that would normally be found on the inside of the womb- quite common apparently)

Unfortunately symptoms can come and go also and are not reliable.

This could go either way and only a scam will tell. Hoping for the best outcome for you.

Thank you so much! That does help me have a little hope even if it is the tiniest bit! I just dont feel pregnant anymore if that makes sense? I'm being referred at half past 8 in the morning so will hopefully know by the end of tomorrow x

I had this and it was the start of my miscarriage. I was give progesterone tablets to help.

Am going through the same thing at the minute, am 5 weeks I have a scan tomorrow I have been checked out on Thursday and Saturday and my cervix is still closed and my hcg levels are high. Praying for a miracle tomorrow hoping that all is fine, I have heard you can bleed and clot all the way through.

Have you had any scans? I am praying for you 🤞🏼 Hopefully our baby’s are fine 👏🏼

@kLR2019 no no scans yet, I rang first thing Friday but they said my GP needed to refer me, it's so hard isn't it to actually get seen :( I'm praying for our babies too, weve been trying since August, I though tit light all be to ogood to be true :( xx

@Chantel17 am new to this site too, I took my self to the local hospital and they done the cervix checks and the hcg one and booked me in for a scan on Monday. Maybe it’s worth a try, what is the bleeding like that you have had?

I know it seems stupid when I came out the hospital a lady bird landed on me in the car this morning there was a lady bird on the bin when I took the rubbish out I’ve just googled it and it says it’s a sign of luck so am praying to god that’s my sign that everything’s okay, maybe am just trying to grab on to any hope!

I’ve never wanted it so much in my life I’ve had period pain like symptoms but then when I wipe it’s gone it’s very strange I burst into tears I said I don’t know what’s going on with my body and that kills me x

Its mainly when I wee and wipe its quite bright red a little slimey? Sorry only way I can describe it! It was just a slight tinge of brown until Friday morning. It's not as heavy today but like you I've had period like pains most of the time. What is your blood like?

@Chantel17 well on Thursday it was like spotting light brown then went abit darker, I went in and had the cervix exam and since then I started to clot so mine has gone from brown to pink to red to clotting but now the clots are pink and it’s only when I go for a wee or wipe but the pain is still there. After the cervix exam yesterday when she pulled it out the blood was all over the bed I just hope they knocked my cervix and that caused the bleed.

It’s a horrible feeling isn’t it, I hope everything’s going to be okay with us both.

The doctor said to me that on the scan tomorrow they might not even see anything it’s to early to see.

@Chantel17 my bloods not as bad today am praying for a miracle we really want this little baby.

Heads chocker with it all how’s your partner been with it all my partners been amazing but he’s said your more important as long as your okay x

I haven't had the clotting yet, well if I had they must of been small becasue I havnt noticed any. But again they could be on their way. I just dont get how you can bleed and be ok, in my head you think blood equals MC but I know it can happen and some people have their babies. Has yours been like a period have u had to use pads? If so have u bled much or just when you wipe. Xx

@Chantel17 at first I didn’t use pads but I put them on to monitor it. I am not filling a towel up but my periods have always been light.

It’s horrible I know you prepare your self for the doctors to say you have MC but when they said your cervix is closed and my HCG levels was high so that’s good it give me abit of hope I was talking to a girl on this who bled and clot all the way through her pregnancy it would come and go so only thing you can do is hope x
