Hellloo,

I’ve found out I’m 7 weeks pregnant.
I have one sore boob? And tired in the evening but no sickness.
This is my 4th pregnancy but I only have 1 daughter who is 5. First pregnancy ended at 20 weeks through problems with the baby and just recently in January had a mmc.
I’m so scared it will happen again.
Is this normal to not have sickness?
I have read that your chance of miscarriage is higher if you have no sickness and know I’m a mess😞

I had no symptoms my whole pregnancy. No sickness, no sore boobs, no cramps, no heart burn, energy levels remained the same. Ds is now a healthy 6 year old.

Newbie2123 · 22/06/2019 21:30

Thank you mumof1andacat,
So scary what you read on the internet but thank you for your reply
I can’t remember with my DD, I just scare myself x

@Newbie2123 same here! I have a nearly 3 year old and I didn't get symptoms with him other than very slight nausea when hungry but that was a bit later. I have also had 3 miscarriages and didn't get morning sickness with those either so I totally get the worry although I tell myself it obviously doesn't mean anything. At 7 weeks today I'm wishing for sickness also which is crazy but let's just keep our fingers crossed that we are one of those lucky ones who have sick free pregnancies!

Itsme26 · 23/06/2019 00:03

It’s good to know I am not alone. Apart from tender boobs. I have been worrying about lack of morning sickness. I’m trying to not worry but just when you read things as normal you panic thinking it’s not normal. I hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy

OccasionalNachos · 23/06/2019 00:05

7 weeks was when my sickness got started, OP... try not to worry too much. Do you know when you’re going for a scan?

Lockcodger · 23/06/2019 00:06

I never had morning sickness with the first 2 of my pregnancies (did have mild nausea with 3rd) and I have 3 healthy DC. What I found was that every pregnancy was different with symptoms (except for PSD with all which I wouldnt wish in anyone)

Mintypea5 · 23/06/2019 00:06

I've never had morning sickness. Have two kids 7&1 pregnant with 3 (19 weeks) no sickness again!

MoominKitty · 23/06/2019 02:46

I only had sickness for week 8 and 9 but had had tender nipples on and off from the beginning and I'm on week 14 now. My friend also had no symptoms at all with her first and everything was perfect. Try not to worry too much, and congratulations ☺

Millymollymandybestie · 23/06/2019 02:50

I had no sickness with dd or ds. Generally I’m just not a physical sick kinds of person. Even when I feel sick I’m very rarely actually physically sick

MangoM · 23/06/2019 03:31

Congratulations and try not to worry. I haven't had any symptoms with my current pregnancy either - no sickness, no sore boobs, no cramping, no cravings. I'm currently at 33 weeks at the moment and everything's progressing as it should.

I know it's easy to say 'don't worry' but perhaps if you can afford it, a private scan might put your mind at ease?

Newbie2123 · 23/06/2019 07:36

Thank you for all you reply’s.
I was thinking to ring the midwife and get a early scan but not sure if they let you these days? Just want everything to be ok. Sounds normal to not have sickness then! Worrying is the worst part I think😞 just want the 12 weeks to fly by and I can try to enjoy it xxx

I’m currently 24 weeks and had no sickness at all, in fact I didn’t really have any symptoms apart from tiredness. I also had 2 previous miscarriages so I was terrified the lack of symptoms meant bad news but just shows that everyone is different and some people just don’t get many symptoms.

Samosaurus · 23/06/2019 08:00

Congratulations!
I had no morning sickness with my son and that was such a straightforward pregnancy. I recently had a mmc, and was terribly sick. So it’s definitely not a bad sign you don’t have any! Wishing you a smooth pregnancy :)

Echobelly · 23/06/2019 08:01

Yeah, I had two pregnancies with very few 'symptoms' - no morning sickness (a tiny bit of queasiness mid-morning for a few weeks first time round), exhaustion for first few weeks of 2nd pregnancy, but otherwise nothing really.

I think just count yourself lucky, like I did!

Newbie2123 · 23/06/2019 08:20

Thank you❤️ It’s nice to hear.
Going to ring the midwife up tomorrow to get a scan to put my mind at ease..I’m 7 weeks now, should I wait till 8 weeks? Or should 7 be ok?x

Mintypea5 · 23/06/2019 10:51

@Newbie2123 my epu won't scan until 8 weeks for a history of miscarriage (3+) unless you've had bleeding or pain but each one is different! Mainly because they say at 8 weeks better chance of seeing heartbeat etc

qj17 · 23/06/2019 10:54

Just count yourself lucky, I'm 36 weeks and had no sickness but Iv seen friends suffer and it's awful.

Newbie2123 · 23/06/2019 11:31

@Newbie2123 oh really? I just worry with my mmc all my symptoms just stopped and know I’m pinpointing everything.

I can’t remember if I had sickness with my DD feels like such a long time ago I was pregnant with her. Boobs only hurt when taking a bra off sore around the outside..which I know I had with Scarlett. We will just have to wait and see! Hoping for the best xx

I had no pregnancy symptoms at all. No sore boobs, no sickness - nothing. I pretended to have cravings to keep my husband on his toes but really I felt nothing out of the ordinary.

I had healthy twins!

Newbie2123 · 23/06/2019 11:47

I like your style....I might take that and use it myself haha. Thank you though for the reassurance xx

PregnantOnPurpose · 23/06/2019 12:48

The only symptom I have, is when i eat, even just a cereal bar when i feel hungry or not, 10 minutes after eating it I feel like I've eaten a horse!

I'm so full even after the smallest portion. But I've not had any morning sickness at all, I'll be 10 weeks this week. I was worried when I researched it too but I've read about so many people have nothing and having healthy babies that I've relaxed a little. Just looking forward to my scan!

Newbie2123 · 23/06/2019 13:24

Glad you’ve relaxed a little.
Xx

chipscheesegravy · 23/06/2019 14:38

I'm 28 weeks and not a single symptom yet!

Newbie2123 · 23/06/2019 14:55

Hi OP! I'm 6 weeks today and no sign of any morning sickness (yet!). Feel a little nauseous some mornings though but not every morning. I have booked in for a private early scan in two weeks time just to put my mind at rest a little.
Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy x
