Gender question following 12 week scan

We had our 12 week scan today (I was measured at 12 + 4 days) and the sonographer took a very clear potty shot! There was not a hint of anything there so could this indicate a girl!? Or is it too early to tell either way?

Well it's certainly one or the other. Does it matter?

Too early via potty shot. Google nub theory.

Absolutely doesn't matter in the slightest. I was just intrigued because I hadn't seen a shot from this angle at 12 weeks in my previous pregnancies.

Babies all have what appears to look like a penis until approximately 14 weeks. (This is what my sonographer said to me before she scanned my 12 week DD and said, “Oh. But in this case, I’m almost certain that’s a girl.”) So based on this, if it looks like a boy at 12 weeks, it could be either. If there’s no protrusion, maybe a girl.
