I work 2 jobs, I pay tax on both jobs. I just found out I will only be entitled to SMP from one job because I get paid too little from the other, I get paid £0.54p per week too little to be entitled. Because I am entitled to SMP from my first job, I won't be entitled to maternity allowance from my second. I will literally get nothing from them, I'm so pissed off. I work out of hours in an emotionally and physically challenging job, all for national minimum wage. My first job is the same job role but I get paid over 3 quid an hour more. I just want to tell them to stick their job where the sun don't shine and just not turn up tonight. I know that seems really petulant, but they give zero fucks about their employees.
I literally don't know what to do. I'm a hormonal wreck and this is just the cherry on the cake. Not after advice just needed to rant somewhere and for someone to talk sone sense into me so I don't walk out of my job!
