Preeclampsia

Has anyone else been diagnosed with preeclampsia.
What happens, do they induce you early?
Let me know your stories?

Diagnosed at 38+6, admitted and induced the same day. Induction went fairly smoothly but was very intense. Baby was born the following day at 5pm, after waters were broken at 1:30pm. I ended up staying in hospital for a couple of days to medicate and monitor my BP (then a couple more days because baby had jaundice...)

I didn't feel unwell at all, just heavily pregnant!

I was diagnosed with it at 37+4.
I was admitted onto the labour ward and put on labetalol to try and lower my bp, they did my obs every 3 hours, monitored abi twice a day and looked after me very well. They were planning on doing a c section on the Tuesday after the bank holiday but on the Saturday they forgot to monitor abi in the morning and then put me on the wrong one in the afternoon so everything went to pot lol and she was born by emergency c section about 5 hours later. I was only pushed into a c section because of other health concerns 😒😒 sadly

I was admitted last year with DD for pre-eclampsia at 34 weeks. Kept in for 2 weeks while they tried to find a combination of BP tablets to stabilise my BP and was monitored every 4 hours. Got induced at 36 weeks, spent a week on the ward with DD after.

I'm 35 weeks, expecting another DD, and been diagnosed with pre-eclampsia last week. I was admitted overnight with high BP and +1 protein but let out the next day as long as I monitor my BP at home and adjust my medication accordingly (at my insistence).
My BP and urine is being checked twice a week now at hospital. Had +2 of protein today but allowed to go home because my BP wasnt too bad. Unless my BP starts to rise again they are leaving me to get to 37 weeks.

Just home from hospital. Booked in to be induced on wednesday but will be checked every 2 say so they might bring me in early. At keast i have a day or 2 to get some tiny baby clothes. 36 weeks today they are trying to get me to 36 weeks.

Soo many mixed emotions i thought i would have 3 weeks at least of rest before all this started.
