Is this normal?

Hi everyone I came off the pill in January haven’t been TTC. I’ve had three periods since then. Withdrawal bleed from the pill on the 10th January, another period 7th March and then another 27th April. So roughly working on a 50 odd day cycle. The app says based on that cycle I was due my period 4 days ago. I haven’t had it I’ve taken a test this morning and it is negative, any ideas if it’s too early? Or if it’s just an irregular period? Should I go to the doctors? Also should I be worried I haven’t conceived as of yet?

If the arrival of your period is usually a little unpredictable then it’s possible you are a little early for a positive on the other it could be you’re late and your period will arrive. Maybe try another test at the weekend.

Most gps won’t offer any help to couples that have been trying under a year as it’s perfectly normal to take 12 months to fall pregnant.
