I know that feeling! the waiting before you can take a test is the worst. How long after you took the test did you see a line? It does say to only look at the test within the time frame given on the pack, as after a certain time they're not reliable anymore. That's not to say you're not pregnant though. Taking a test a week before AF is also a bit risky, as you'll most likely get a negative regardless and you don't want that disappointment, especially if you're actually pregnant after all

That happens after you've left them a few hours. If the second line didn't show up within minutes of your taking the test, it's negative.

Yeah I know but now I’m just even more confused because I thought it could be s evaporate line though I’ve never seen one and I did a third test left it long this one said negative no evap line no faded line or nothing and the thing is because two out of three came up with a line and because of searches online I’m just so confused

Wait a couple of days and take another one. Use a first response early response (FRER) as these are most accurate. If it's positive, it will be much clearer in 2 days and you'll have your answer.

@Cutieppp any line after the time it says is an evap xx

Cutieppp · 19/06/2019 15:22

But that’s the thing because it came with no instructions I never even gave the first one 3 mins or moth just looked sore threw it down looked at night boom line did another to see if it was evap line said negative check hours later still negative and my cousin said she’s done that before and she was pregnant

This happened to me and yer I'm now 16 weeks pregnant I took a test on the Friday looked again in the Sunday do not ask why I didn't throw it away I haven't a clue why and when I looked at it it was then positive so I got another test an it come up positive straight away xx

They're not valid after 10 minutes.

Take another one in the morning (morning wee is strongest). But you'd be better off waiting till next Tuesday - or even the Tuesday after that - to be sure.

My first BFP only came up after half an hour. I’d abandoned it after the recommended number of minutes but left it on the side of the bath. Checked again 30 mins later later before I binned it and found a very faint line, which was then a ‘proper’ line on an FRER later that day.
