So I’m 37+ 4 and symptom spotting constantly. Not helped by the anecdotes from family, none of us were late and I’m one of 4 and an auntie to 4. I did loose my plug today but that could still mean weeks left of uncomfortable pregnancy.
Anyone else with me?

I'm with you! 37+3 today and I'm done... Is this your first?

My first DC was 2 days early and I'm really hoping this one is even sooner!

HchyScott · 18/06/2019 18:52

Yep this is my first so nervous, but very excited at the same time! Hope you don’t have too long to wait, has your pregnancy been quite straight forward?

38+4 today, couldn’t feel less like labour was imminent if I tried lol

HchyScott · 18/06/2019 19:56

@anonforthespies43267 is this your first?

@HchyScott yeah it is x

HonniBee · 20/06/2019 05:40

How's everyone feeling today?

My pregnancy has been relatively straightforward, apart from insomnia and anaemia which mean I'm permanently exhausted. Hooray!

cocodash · 20/06/2019 07:21

I'm 38+2 and constantly symptom spotting lol

My plug came away last Friday and I have noticibly dropped and had a LOT of braxton hicks and some twinges..... But nothing to get myself excited about

anonforthespies43267 · 20/06/2019 08:28

I’m feeling like this baby is going to have to be forcibly evicted lol.

39 weeks tomorrow, not even so much as a twinge and although baby was head down at Monday’s midwife appt she felt all over the place last night & DH said bump looks higher again!

I have managed 8 hours sleep in between waking up 50 times in the night so feel better today!

HchyScott · 21/06/2019 07:23

Morning all! 38 weeks today and feeling really good! Having loads of braxton hicks, they are so crazy strong my body surely is getting ready for the real deal?? I know they aren’t as they are still completely painless. I only know they are very strong as when I went in for monitoring to due excessive movement on Wednesday night, they were showing at 99%, also my stomach showed some interesting shapes!!
Anyone tried any eviction methods? I’m quite up for doing the deed but I’ve got spd and last time we did I couldn’t walk for a day which has put DH off haha!!

39 weeks today here 🙋🏻‍♀️

No signs at all, worst nights sleep ever I was so hot!

Not tempted to do anything other than walk or bounce on the birthing ball to get baby into position as midwife told me nothing wise works so I’m not wasting my time or energy lol x

HchyScott · 21/06/2019 09:57

@anonforthespies43267 have you seen the predicted temperatures for next week?! 😫😭 why can’t It be a nice sunny, non humid 24 degrees and cool at night!

OP posts:
HonniBee · 21/06/2019 15:49

Cool at night would be marvellous! I keep waking up absolutely roasting. 😣

I hadn't seen the forecast for next week, and am now quietly terrified....

anonforthespies43267 · 21/06/2019 16:19

@HchyScott oh no she better come this weekend I can’t be pregnant in that heat next week 😭

HchyScott · 21/06/2019 16:38

@HonniBee @anonforthespies43267 the thought of it is scaring me! Air con doesn’t work in the car... being pregnant in that heat will be hard enough but what if we’ve got newborns? Scary trying to keep them cool too 😳

OP posts:
anonforthespies43267 · 21/06/2019 20:59

@HonniBee @HchyScott yes I’m stressing about temperatures & dressing baby too.

I have this horrible feeling I’m going to go horrendously over anyway so it’ll be cold again by then I expect 😢

HonniBee · 24/06/2019 05:39

Is anyone else suffering with hayfever? It's horrendous and I'm so miserable. Got some beconase spray from the pharmacist on Friday, but then noticed less movement all weekend so I stopped using it. (I did go to the hospital for monitoring but all is well). Apparently it's only going to get worse this week!

Aquamarine1029 · 24/06/2019 05:46

I suggest you enjoy the peace and quiet while it lasts. Which won't be for long!

HonniBee · 24/06/2019 09:35

@Aquamarine1029 I have a 3 year old... Not entirely sure I remember what peace and quiet is! Grin

HchyScott · 24/06/2019 12:10

@Aquamarine1029 if only I had a pound for every time someone said that!

38+2 with 3rd and it's time to leave my body now. This is my last pregnancy and I really wanted to enjoy it. But it's shit and I'm ready to put this chapter of my life behind me.

HonniBee · 24/06/2019 14:29

I hear you @Contraceptionismyfriend! I was so looking forward to actually being pregnant, but now I can't think why and just want it over!
