I am 26 weeks tomorrow is it normal for your baby to be really active one day and then not as active the next day during the weekend she was moving all day and night she was moving like crazy!!!! Like all day and night but Monday and today just the odd kick and move around I have felt her move every time I lay down and or just press on my stomach so I am taking that as a good sign but was just wondering if anyone have experienced this Smile

I've definitely experienced this. Mine seems to go through days where he kicks and moves like crazy, I think he's trying to escape. And then a couple of quieter days where he's still moving, but not the crazy movements like other days. I think a lot of things can affect movements, particularly their position. I also think that some days they just sleep more than others, especially if I'm busy all day and walking around it rocks him to sleep for pretty much the whole day. But if you're concerned for any reason, don't hesitate to get in touch with your midwife or labour ward for reassurance. Better to get checked out and make sure nothing is wrong!

Yep! Mine’s been exactly the same throughout my pregnancy. I’m 39 weeks now and baby has some days when she is really active and others when she’s a bit more lazy. My midwife told me to keep an eye on the routine of movements - so, if I’m used to her moving around after I eat breakfast, she should always move around that time whether it’s lots or just a little. If you’re worried at all about movements then definitely contact your assessment unit or midwife, though. They’ll happily monitor you and baby to put your mind at rest Smile.

Thanks girls! She's definitely still moving around just not as active as she had been but it has happened before where I have days when she's really active and the a couple of days she will be less but still moving lol. But yes I was ring the midwife if I am unsure! Thanks girls xx
