Miscarriage help?

Hello, so we had a private scan on Sunday 9th
Yesterday I had some light red bleeding for the first half of the day (until about 2pm) it was only when I wiped so not a lot of blood.
I rang the 24/7 midwife line when I first noticed blood and they told me to ring local hospital. I rang them and they told me because of our other scan, we can't have another until Sunday 23rd (2 weeks apart) so I booked that. They also said if I got any cramps to go straight to a&e.

Later on while still bleeding I got a few small cramps so we went straight to A&E and they basically dismissed us and said we have to wait until Sunday, she also said we should prepare ourselves for the fact I might be miscarrying, and "try not to worry"
This is my first pregnancy and I've not had any bleeding so far, obviously were going to worry! And we've got 6 full days before appointment

However last night I got a lot of nausea, and I've had back pain all night.
Obviously I want to stay positive but I'm just worried so much.

Has anyone had anything similar but baby has been fine?

I'm 10 weeks 2 days today.

So sorry to hear you're going through this.

Are you still bleeding? or has it stopped now?

I have had mc, so don't know how much help I can be except to say that I know with bleeding in pregnancy, 1 in 4 times it leads to mc - so odds are in your favour really. I had many friends with bleeding that went on to healthy pregnancies.

I think its better if you have spotting type bleeding that starts and stops - with mc it generally progressively gets worse over a few hours, so I think you'd know by now if it was mc (I knew within about 4 hours). but it can be different for everyone.

I would try the hospital again as that sounds pretty s**t for help, which dept did you call/speak to? The scanning dept can be a bit rigid, but if you have an EPU or emergency gynecology deal with in at my local hospital.

Can you ring your normal community midwife?

Sadly only time/scan will tell. Very hard to wait.
