Has anyone had any of these packs and if so what sort of things are in them? TIA

Samples of products, like baby wipes johnsons baby bath, oil etc you normally get given a code which you take into boots etc to get your goody bag but I never bothered!

I found they are mostly leaflets and advertising now, a couple of tiny free samples, not really worth it in my opinion.

Summergarden · 18/06/2019 13:13

They aren’t that great, a couple of small free samples and lots of leaflets. You only get them but giving them your contact details and address, opening yourself up to lots of junk mail... at least that was the case when I had my DCs a few years ago.

I got all mine at once! As the others said mainly leaflets and promotions for other stuff! Sachet of shampoo and conditioner, teeny tiny bottle of palmers stretch mark cream, some breast milk storage bags I think, few tiny nappy cream samples & 2 sample packs of lansinoh breast pads - that was my selection from ALL 3 Emma’s diary packs AND the bounty pack (which also contained a pack of little angles nappies)
I’ve found the samples handy for my hospital bag!
I only got mine Cos I happened to be in Argos (Asda for bounty packs) otherwise I wouldn’t have bothered Cos they aren’t worth it and I personally would have to have driven really far out of my way to get them!

In my Emma's diary packs I have had samples of bepanthen (a nappy easy cream) stretch mark cream, milk teeth etc. You can collect 3 of each pack so may be worth trying at different times in your pregnancy... also if you go online via the website you can print the vouchers off and then collect from both boots and Argos and it only uses 1 redemption up! So far I have collected from both and have ended up with quite a few bits that will be handy

thetwinkles · 22/06/2019 11:28

Where and how do you get them? Don't think I've got anything with my booking paperwork?

Buddytheelf85 · 22/06/2019 14:20

I was given mine by midwife. Just got load of leaflets, a pregnacare sample, a pregnacare pen, and a tiny mama mio sample in mine. Definitely nothing to go out of my way for!

Rememberallball · 22/06/2019 17:09

@buddytheelf85, that sounds more like the 1st Bounty Pack rather than Emma’s Diary one. The second Bounty Pack is available from Boots, Tesco or Asda - you get far more from Asda than the other 2!!

Heyha · 22/06/2019 22:41

The best one is the bounty pack from Asda as it has a full pack of nappies.

If you don't mind junk mail and are going in the places that have them anyway you might as well get them as the sample sizes are good for hospital bags, but they aren't worth a special journey.

Thanks for the replies. I got a voucher in the Emma’s diary booklet from the mw for either Argos & boots. I was thinking I’d see what they’re like when I’m next at one of those shops.

Not worth going out of your way to get IMO. You get a few small free samples but mostly leaflets. The bounty pack you get in the hospital when you have your baby is good.

Please be careful, they sell your details to third party companies who try and flog you insurance, photoshoots etc and pester you regularly if you give out your number. I signed up 5yrs ago and am still getting the odd call.
