early pg and pee question from DB.

i've answered as many as I can but am now doubting myself! lol.

ok his new g/f is feeling sick, sore boobs (apparently last few days) she's been on antibotics which apparently the dr's said can effect htp - but I didn't think they could?? anyhow his latest q is

does your pee seperate when pg? - I remember last week wiith the dr mine did was like cloudy at hte bottom however this week it's clear so is that a difinative thing to check?

obv i've said do a hpt but now i'm worried cos my pee is clear iycwim but it's silly cos of the amount of pos test's i've done! lol.

anyhow so does it seperate?

Sometimes when I've given samples it's been a little cloudy, mostly it's been clear. I've never heard of any link between cloudiness and pregnancy.

My samples for the midwife are always clear..

glad your samples have been clear girls - that puts my mind to rest. GF asked her sister (apparently a nurse) who said she'd never heard of any links/that being a reason for pg iycwim, as I said to DB it could well just be hormones/not enough fluids or something, but I think DB want's it to hapopen so much he's looking for anything iycwim. fingers crossed either way really.

If your pee is cloudy I would be concerned about a UTI. It should be clear.

Are they not getting the BFP they want?

she's testing today - can it be a sign of thrush? afaik I don't have any infections - if I do then DH will be in trouble.

UTI - bog standard urine infection. NOthing to do with DH.

I wouldn't have thought thrush as that is vaginal and fungal.

Did you know you should ideal wipe front to back before taking a sample to MW? Makes sure urine isn't contaminated with any vaginal goo.
