I'm 35+4 and I've spoken to my mat unit this morning and I'm currently doing the 2 hours on my left side counting kicks as bump had dropped this weekend and baby seems to have slowed down/softened movements.

I've definitely had my 10 movements, but still have 20 minutes left, so am just staying put at the moment.

But my hip really hurts, I've noticed it over the past week in bed that it I lay on my side for a while I need to roll over, is there anything I can do to reduce the pain, both right now and when I'm in bed? It's kinda unbearable...

TIA

I’m 37 weeks and I’m typing this from bed as my hip hurts so much I can’t get up! It started for the first time last week, and I was given the advice that birthing balls can really help with hip and pelvic pain, so I’ve ordered one. My advice is don’t over-do it. I kept walking and working this weekend through the pain though it was getting worse, and I should have rested.
