Pregnancy line fading after solid lines on previous pregnancy tests

Hi

I am super worried right now! I am pregnant after a previous miscarriage. I did two PG tests last week and got solid 2 lines. I did another test this morning out of sheer panic as today is as far as I got before miscarrying last time. The line was definitely there but lighter than the others. I have done all tests the same time first thing in the morning full bladder and no drink beforehand and used the same brands (1st response)

I saw the GP today and he didnt want to do a blood test incase inaccurate false info but said to relax and test again in two weeks and keep off of google!!

I want to know who has gone through the same and had a positive outcome - am I panicking unnecessarily? Am i kidding myself! I am not naive and clearly I am thinking the worst. But no blood so far. Has anyone got facts about the change in positive lines for reassurance?

Thanks girls xx

Sorry I don't have an answer just didn't want to read and run. Just try to stay calm as panicking won't help (easier said than done I know!) for now I would leave it a few days and retest. i hope you have a positive outcome xx

Every doctor will tell you the strength of the lines means nothing I took 10 pregnancy test and none of them was that strong at all I Carnt say u have not lost the baby but just thought I would say none of my tests got really dark and I'm now 16 weeks xx

I wouldn’t worry about one or even two tests in isolation as I had the same thing happen to me after 2 previous miscarriages. Was obsessively testing every morning using the same brand and at 5 weeks pregnant I got the faintest line after having lines get stronger on the previous 10 mornings. I completely panicked but did another test that evening and the line was back strong and again strong the next morning, it happened again a few days later before going stronger than ever. That pregnancy was successful.

I will be honest and say though that with one of my miscarriages the test lines just never got dark and then started to get lighter and lighter over a number of days and when I had my bloods done my Hcg had dropped from 75 on the first test to 24 3 days later so I knew the tests were correct and I did indeed miscarry a few days later.

Try not to loose hope,I know it’s hard but test again in a day or so. Fingers crossed for you.
