Hiya my name is Orlagh and I am a student studying to be a midwife and I'm currently doing some research into mental health and pregnancy. I'm conducting some research into how 'pregnancy can affect a women's mental health, with both women who already have a pre- existing condition, or have struggled with their mental health prior to falling pregnant and also with women who have never had any struggle with their mental health before becoming pregnant. I am also looking into the support provided for pregnant women with mental health issues and the organisations available to help them. I am interested to see if providing women with support for their mental health during pregnancy could prevent their mental struggles from worsening after the baby is born. I have devised a survey to help me answer some of these questions. I would really appreciate it if people would take the time to complete the survey.
