Do I take urine sample first thing in the morning?

Hi, just realised I have to provide a FIRST urine sample of my pregnancy tomorrow (6 months in). Do I have to do it first thing in the morning? I think they´re testing for diabetes.. Thanks.

yes the first urine sample is the strongest so I would advise to use this one if possible.

I thought you weren't supposed to use your first wee of the day - but I can't remember the reason. Also it should be mid-stream wee.
