Those who had reassurance scans at 7 weeks

Having an early reassurance scans tomorrow when I'll be 7+1
Had an early mc a few months back so haven't got too excited in case this one ends in mc too.

Should I expect a transvaginal scan at 7 weeks or is it likely to be an ultrasound? Also what did you see at 7 weeks? Heard of people seeing a heartbeat which would be really reassuring

@tisonlymeagain how did you go about getting your first scan so early? I'm feeling very anxious given I don't seem to have many symptoms (think I'm somewhere between 5 & 6 weeks) and wondering when is sensible to go for a first early scan. If it is bad news I want to know ASAP rather than wait until 12 weeks etc.

Planning to call the gp tomorrow...

All went well, thanks for asking @doris19. Wee heartbeat and measuring 8+1 - I had been pretty confident I was 7+5. I wouldn't worry if I were you - I've had pretty minimal symptoms so far.

Hi @Doris19 I had a huge bleed so went to A&E and they referred me to EPU. Think you have to be sent there by a doctor or midwife.

My head is just a bit all over the place with the uncertainty. I have an under active thyroid which makes me nervous although my meds have been adjusted.

I'm going to call the GP tomorrow and take it from there

On my way for a scan now and have just started bleeding so think I know what the outcome here will be :( but will keep you all posted
