Hi, I am almost 35 weeks pregnant and have a cluster of spider veins at the back of my knee. Today they have become quite painful especially when walking. I can’t quite weight bare on my leg and I am having to walk on my tip toes. Anybody else experienced this? Thanks!

I have a gross varicose vein and that is one of my risks. OP I recommend you call your midwives asap and ask, only because of blood clots risks is worth checking please.
It might not be anything but I wouldn't want you to risk it

@prawnpatrol they’re horrible aren’t they! Have you had any pain from yours? It’s like a constant aching burning sensation but painful when walking. Thank you for your advice. I will give them a call.

Mine is very old, it doesn't hurt anymore but if it did during this pregnancy I would be quick to get seen. Always best to make sure, even if nothing serious they can advice you so it doesn't get worse
