Period after miscarriage

I had a miscarriage and d&c 5 weeks and 2 days ago. I was just wondering when to expect my period ? Super worried that something's gone wrong as I thought I would have one by now! Done a pregnancy test today and negative so that's not why. Thanks :)

It takes a while for your body to fully figure out your not pregnant again and to start ovulating. I know it can be super worrying especially if you are keen to ttc. After both my miscarriages my next period was much heavier.

I didn't even ovulate until 7 weeks after my miscarriage. It can take a little while

My period came 6 weeks after my miscarriage and d&c. Was also very heavy and painful 🙈
