Can you ovulate without a period

AF last showed at the end of April, ovulation around the 21st may, negative pregnancy tests.

Took a ovulation test today and it's positive 🤷🏻‍♀️😩

Short answer is no. Unless you are pregnant you would get a period 12-16 days after ovulation. What has likely happened is that your body geared up to ovulate, didn't release an egg for whatever reason and so is making a second attempt
