Has anybody managed to lose weight during pregnancy?
I was really healthy prior to pregnancy... Ran a lot, ate well. Then I had a mc then got pregnant again and everything has gone out the window. I've stopped running (because I was too nervous it might cause me to mc again - I know, really it wouldn't but I was terrified!) and have just taken to eating whatever I want.
I feel huge and it's really getting me down. The issue is, I feel like its too late. Im fast approaching the third trimester... Has anybody lost weight this late in pregnancy? I dont plan to do anything drastic, just stop eating like a wild animal! I just need some hope really that all is not lost yet Sad (please be gentle, I know I've only got myself to blame but I feel so sad about it!)

I am sorry about your loss and happy that you are now pregnant.

It is never too late to stop eating crap. Think about the future, the mother you want to be and the food your want your DC to enjoy.
So clean your cupboard and bin the crap, starting with crisps and ultra processed food.
Fill you fridge with vegetables of every colours and textures, remove the sauces, the drinks and sugary food.
Babies in their mother's womb develop a preference for the food the mother is eating.
Prepare huge salads and lovely soups. Be careful to maintain all your nutrients and go easy on bread and cheese. Try new vegetables and fruit every week or new way of cooking them.Avoid the processed meat, the highly engineered food, leave everything that has more than 5 ingredients listed on the shelf and do the same for every product that has more than 5 gr. of sugar/100 gr. Natural sugars and carbs in vegetables and fruits are fine. Watch your drinks even the healthy sugar-bombs that are fruits smoothies, flavoured lattes or iced coffee.
Don't eat fried food, like chips or fish, have your fish grilled and you potatoes boiled and eaten in a salad with freshly cut and chopped parsley and chives.

A weighloss diet might not be the best idea during a pregnancy but removing all the food you know isn't giving you any goodness is absolutely fine.

Sorry about your loss Sad

Yes I have lost weight in my pregnancy it wasn't intentional at all.
I have gained nearly 2lb but baby is weighing just over 5lb so I'm assuming I've lost if you take into consideration my babies weight. Not sure if this correct though 😂

Thank you Lilies, 100% going to try and get back on track as of today. It's so frustrating: I was so healthy. Then it all just went wrong. I hope I can lose some weight in this last trimester 🤞🏻

No worries about the past, focus on the now and today. So have a nice start, eat right and every time you have a craving or a temptation for crap, just think and believe that you are stronger than that and this is not what you are.
Best of luck!
