To ring the labour ward or not?

Hello, I’m 41 (Hmm) weeks pregnant and I’m unsure if my waters have gone or I’m just having very watery discharge.

It feels like a pooling sensation inside and although my underwear is damp, I’m not sure if it’s just excessive watery discharge. Sorry for the TMI!

I am also having cramps - but have been since week 36, so don’t know if my mind is in overdrive or not.

Baby seems happy in there / moving well etc. But do I ring the labour ward or am I wasting their time?

I would ring! They will most likely ask you to go in! Baby soon!

Put on a pad and ring them.

Yep pad and ring the ward Smile

Definately call! I didn't, baby ended up with an infection and a week in the HDU...

Ultimately fine, but a phone call would have been better.

Yes phone. Waters going isn’t always a big gush, they can just trickle!
Good luck! Exciting times! X

Yes I would ring, this is how my waters went with my second. Rang the labour ward and was told to come in, by the time I arrived contractions were strong and just as the midwife came to escort me the rest of my waters went with a spectacular gush.

Ring! Good luck Flowers

Ok! I’ve rang the labour ward who asked me to call the ANDU at 9:15.

I don’t want to get my hopes up, but also really hope this is it! Fingers crossed.
