Help! Confusing test result

Hi!

Been ttc for a few month now and I've done a test tonight. Probably way to early as not due on for a week or so, but anyway, bought a cheap test and then it showed nothing but had a faint line thing just towards the outside of the window, so I took the test apart and it looks like this??

I don't have another test handy so will need to wait until tomorrow. But if anyone has any ideas?

I think the line would need to be inside the window.....update us again tomorrow though :)

Tests in cassettes shouldn’t be taken apart as that causes faint coloured lines to appear as part of the drying out process which can be confused for positive results.

If you are not due on for at least another week I would wait and test in 4-5 days with a FRER test as they are amongst the most sensitive available.
