So I'm exactly 9 weeks pregnant today and I've just got some brown discharge when I went to pee... it was on my underwear... I'm not really paranoid has anyone had this before? I've had no discharge other than thin white sometimes clear discharge... NEVER BROWN... freaking out

@jayde21 try not to worry! I had this pretty much every day during around weeks 8 and 9, and nothing came of it. My midwife and GP both said it's nothing to worry about, just your body cleaning out old blood from your cervix. They said you should only worry if it becomes bright red, fresh blood.

@MrsS7 really! Thank you, I was really freaking out there when I seen it I've only had 1 drop since like a spot... it's stopped now, just got me by surprise😌

@jayde21 I'm 12+2 and have had it on and off for the last week or so. I was worried too, so had a scan on Tues at an early pregnancy unit and all was well Smile teeny tiny wriggly little person in me! Shock

If it gets any worse, tell your gp/midwife and they'll book an early scan appointment for you. Try not to worry Flowers

@aliensprig Thank you, think it just caught me by surprise, it wasn't a lot it was only a little bit, not enough to change a panty liner, thanks again if it's not gone by tomorrow morning then I'll consult my midwife😊

Even if it is gone by morning, tell your midwife

Any bleeding, brown or red, needs to be checked out
