Wondered if anyone is in a similar place to me to share the journey! TTC for 4.5 years, 3 freeze all EC, got a BFP this morning after second FET which I really wasn't expecting as I'd convinced myself it hadn't worked! Now not sure how to stick it out for the next few weeks until the scan 🤞 here come a whole load of new worries...

Not in the same boat at all but wanted be the first to say congratulations! That's a long time waiting x

FrankT · 12/06/2019 18:16

Also if you're able to get a private early scan I recommend it. I did when I was 7/8 weeks gone with long tried for dd and it was worth every penny of the £99. X

Crazyeyes3 · 12/06/2019 19:01

Just wanted to say massive congratulations! I’m cuddling my 6 week old IVF baby. They really are little miracles. Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy x

sandytoes84 · 12/06/2019 20:02

Congratulations! I’m due end of Jan from a FET, currently 8+4.

When do you have your early scan? Mine was last week, amazing to see that tiny heartbeat! Though didn’t see as much as I’d wished through the tears!

Whole new load of worries now! I found that reminding myself everyday is a day I’m still pregnant has helped.

Congrats again OP, it’s lovely to hear a success story!x

Lovepiano · 12/06/2019 22:26

Thanks to everyone for the replies! Scan will be at 8 weeks which is still 3.5 weeks to wait - really hoping to still be pregnant then. Congratulations crazyeyes and hope you enjoy every second with your miracle! Sandytoes, you put it really well - even if it does end in tears after this it's still a step we haven't achieved before and it's reassuring to get this far, and I'm trying to keep remembering that! Hope you feel well through the next weeks xx

Morning! I’m 10 weeks today and due 8th jan after our first transfer ( FET after a freeze all cycle due to OHSS risk ) Smile I’ve had two scans already via clinic and have a private one booked on Sunday for father’s day! It still doesn’t feel real, science is really bloody cool Grin

Booksandstuff · 13/06/2019 08:09

Hi! I'm 5+4. Got my BFP at 4+1 - the last week and a half have dragggggged. Constant level of anxiety just hovering over me.
Was ttc for 2.5 years and our first transfer worked after an FET. Still can't believe it's real. Keeping everything crossed. Have a scan on Monday.
Congrats to everyone. IVF is gruelling. X

Geluksvogel · 13/06/2019 08:23

Hi and congratulations. 5+1 due 14 Feb after a our first FET. We’re a same sex couple and my DW is carrying. Second HCG test today which is raising my levels of anxiety which I’m trying to hide. Private early scan booked for two weeks today. It really can’t come quickly enough. We’re just happy to have got this far. We celebrate every little victory and try and accept that what’s meant to be will be. But it’s hard and nerve wracking. Good luck to everyone

MLP123 · 13/06/2019 08:43

congratulations to everyone who has a positive! I am 8dp5dt on my first fresh cycle of ICSI. My OTD is Sunday but I have 2 faint positives on a FRER and one on a clear blue so I'm keeping everything crossed! Was also totally convinced it wouldn't work as have had a few complications. I haven't told my clinic yet as obviously not meant to have tested until the weekend, but I'm pretty sure this will mean a Feb 2020 baby if everything carries on as it should!! Fingers crossedSmile

hillsandvalleys · 13/06/2019 08:52

Another same sex couple here 👋🏻- IUI, DW carrying. 4 weeks 1 day, early scan booked for July. I could not be happier. Nothing more incredible than getting that little line on the pregnancy test. Yay for all of us growing our little jelly beans ❤️

Lovepiano · 13/06/2019 21:54

Wow congratulations to everyone! Here's to the next few weeks - hoping for good news for everyone

Wishing everyone a successful pregnancy. I hope you all manage to hold on to these precious and hard fought for babies. Unfortunately Feb 2020 won’t be our time, our HCG has plummeted to an unsustainable level and our clinic have told us to expect a miscarriage within the next 3/4 days. We are heart broken but remain positive that our time will come, it was our first FET, we have 4 5d blasts on ice and we will try again in August. Good luck to everyone wishing you all a healthy pregnancy. Gx

hillsandvalleys · 14/06/2019 08:13

So sorry @Geluksvogel Thanks such heartbreak for you and DW. Take care of yourselves and wishing you all the luck in the world for your next transfer

Geluksvogel · 14/06/2019 08:19

Thanks @hillsandvalleys good luck to you and your DW xx

BeaCat · 14/06/2019 08:24

Hi all, I'm 6 weeks plus 6 days. Got our early scan on Monday too @Booksandstuff, feeling anxious too. We've been trying nearly 3 years and this is only embryo we have, desperate for it all to work out ok!

What symptoms are you all experiencing? I feel mine are quite mild so far. I've got sore boobs and just slightly more tired than usual, not really any nausea yet.

Sorry to hear your news @Geluksvogel, wishing you good luck for your future transfers x

Lovepiano · 14/06/2019 09:15

@Geluksvogel, so sorry to hear your news 😞 wishing you strength at this awful time and an easy ride next time round.

I started feeling nauseous the minute I got my BFP - keep trying to tell myself it must be psychological but it's not going away... We transferred two embryos this time so it could be twins which are higher risk for nausea I think. Also been feeling tired and find I get worn out very quickly. I think these can all be symptoms from the nasty nasty drugs though - trying not to take any of it too seriously!

Hope your scans go well on Monday x

So sorry to hear that @Geluksvogel. Best of luck in August.

@BeaCat Good luck tomorrow. I am so nervous. You are a bit ahead of me, I am just 6 weeks today.

NapsAndTea · 16/06/2019 13:40

Huge congrats! I'm now 12+2 with our IVF baby 👶🏼 there hasn't been one scan we've had so far I haven't been nervous for and finally have my 12 week scan this Tuesday! X

Ketkins · 16/06/2019 15:13

I'm 8+3 BFP after first attempt at IVF had an 8 week scan on Wednesday, heartbeat and everything as it should be. I'm 41 so currently beating all the stats they depress you with when first starting IVF!

Booksandstuff · 17/06/2019 05:39

Moved my scan to first thing this morning (I live in Asia to explain time diff!) Had a big bleed in the early hours. Woke up and felt like water was gushing out! Had more bleeding later this morning. Managed to see the doctor. The embryo is the right size and we could hear a heartbeat but it is surrounded by blood, so its a threatened miscarriage. I've been signed off work for the week, complete bed rest. On even more drugs now! What a rollercoaster.

Lovepiano · 17/06/2019 17:39

What an awful experience for you @Booksandstuff - fingers crossed for you that the embryo hangs in there. I find this is such a roller coaster and the higher we climb the further we might fall. Really hoping you get good news.
Congrats to @NapsAndTea and @Ketkins and wishing for sticky pregnancies all round.

BeaCat · 19/06/2019 09:26

I had my scan on Monday, unfortunately it didn't go how I hoped. They couldn't see any embryo, which indicates the pregnancy failed early on. It's strange because the last few weeks I felt I was pregnant, my boobs got lots bigger and were sore and was feeling more tired, so I now I'm wondering if that was the medication or my imagination.
Also my clinic doesn't do HCG blood tests to confirm the pregnancy after you've done the test at home and I feel like if they had I might have known earlier it wasn't working. So I'm sort of annoyed by that.
It was the only embryo we had so now got to work out how to pay for a new round. All very depressing!

I hope you're doing ok @Booksandstuff and it works out ok for your little embryo 😊

Booksandstuff · 19/06/2019 11:29

So so sorry to hear that @BeaCat. Look after yourself. Wish you the best of luck. X

Ketkins · 19/06/2019 13:02

So sorry to hear that, I think all the hormones we have had to take during IVF make it all so much harder to cope with.

Bestofyou1982 · 03/01/2020 15:22

Hi ladies, I was wondering where you are all at now with your ivf journeys?
I've just started taking HRT alongside thr buseralin. Due to have first embryo transfer in couple of weeks after a disappointing freeze all cycle.
This is my first post although I must have read 100s of others on here over the last year or so of ivf madness and clomid cycles year before that.
Hope you are all going well.
