Hi I'm 33 weeks tomorrow. At my 28 week appointment baby was measuring 29 and on the 95th centile. Today at 33 weeks measuring 32 and in 50th centile. Going for a growth scan Friday but has anyone experienced this?

Hey, we was told at 28 weeks we were 3 weeks bigger than expected but was told it’s normal for them to then go to normal or maybe smaller as they are just averaging out.
We have had growth scans every 2 weeks since, but we are still above 90th at 36 weeks and measuring 3 weeks over with a chunky bubba haha

I went for a growth scan every two weeks from 32 to 38. CMW kept telling me bump hadn't grown properly, was really small etc.
Baby was born 8lb 9oz!

Had a ton of growth scans but nothing ever cane of them! Always turned out to be a fuss over nothing and I gave birth to a healthy chunky baby!

Came not cane!

They can be notoriously wrong.
I had a scan a few days before my twins were induced and told they were 7lb+ each, they were then born at 5lb1 and 5lb9 a few days later.
Currently 37+4 with a singleton baby and told last week measuring around 7lb again and up a few centiles since the last scan a few weeks back but not putting too much faith in it

I'm currently in hosp after having my wee girl(not even 24 hours old) and I was getting growth scans every week and they kept telling me she was going to be a large baby. Well she was born at 7lb not exactly large or huge as I kept getting told. The scans can be very off. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy xx

Thanks everyone this has put my mind at ease. It also says on my notes that 1/5th 'relation to brim' after googling what this means apparently only 1/5th of his head was palpable... so surely this would make a difference in measurements?
