36+4 but only feeling movement on one side

As title said, I'm almost 37 weeks but for past 4+ weeks I've only really felt movement on my right hand side, right on the side below my ribs. Sometimes the movement is pretty painful, and generally very visible. I'd assumed it was because she was breach but at last MW appointment she said she thought she'd turned.

It's only just started to worry me that this might not be normal. Why wouldn't I feel it both sides? I can feel a mound on the left side, closer to the middle, and sometimes can feel/see shifting, but never kicking.

Just wondered if other people have had similar experiences? I have a MW appointment tomorrow and I'm tempted to beg her for a scan to check all is OK. But don't want to seem sIlly if it's not unusual.

I only felt movement on one side for the last 6 weeks of my pregnancy just because of the way baby was facing. Ask your midwife to send you for a scan if you're concerned but she'll be able to let you listen to the heartbeat etc and as long as you can still feel movement all is ok x
