What were your tell tale signs of labour being imminent?

I'm 37 weeks tomorrow with number 4 but this pregnancy I've been totally different to others. Today I'm having period like cramps/upset stomach, loose bowel movements the last few days which is unusual atm as I've been so constipated. My nausea has returned. I feel like she's dropped and generally exhausted... Just a coincidence or is something happening do you think? X

Along with a show those sound just like the first signs I had with dc1&2, then my waters broke! Dc3 was immense pain in my lower back, no other signs!
I’m also on dc4 now and the entire pregnancy has been completely different (but I’m putting that down to the age gap and me being much older) fingers crossed it’s all starting for you x

I agree all the above (plus waters breaking although they slowly leaked so I hadn’t realised)

However it went on about 4 days before i went into established labour

Sorry to be graphic...but I had the shits about 72-48hrs beforehand with both pregnancies
Other than that, with DC1 I had no signs at all until DH and I dtd, I stood up to go to the bathroom after and felt a trickle that turned out to be my waters. DC1 was born 48hrs later. (Actual labour was a 3hr induction).
With DC2, again it was sex that kicked things off It all felt a bit weird down there during - not painful or anything, just very strange. I woke up the early hours of the morning to regular contractions and DC2 was born later that afternoon

Waters broke all over the kitchen floor!

Let us know how you get on Justus22. I’m 37 weeks and for the last few days ive had low level period type pain on and off and slight nausea on and off. People have commented that my bump has dropped and I’m getting all manner of little niggles and my mobility is suffering. I’m sure I’m either gearing up for labour (which could be weeks away I guess) or labour will start in the not too distant future.
