Okay it looks fairly positive to me, But does the control line being blurry mean that maybe the test didn't work properly?
Am not actually due my period until Saturday and this test was done with 3rd or 4th pee of the day (Because I became suspicious when I projectile vomited all over my hallway, Sorry TMI)

Is this positive?

Sorry, Meant to say that both the test and the control line took ages to appear, I didn't have much pee to come out as I had not long gone.

That’s positive

Jowd92 · 11/06/2019 16:32

Yes I agree looks like a positive

MovinOnUp · 11/06/2019 16:41

I did another as soon as I could muster some more pee, About an hour after this one and it shows no line at all in the test window.

Would this be because less pee, Later in the day?
Or could this first one have been a false positive?

@movinonup definitely looks positive to me if the line appears before 10 mins best getting a first Response test that’s lets you know 6 days before period hope it’s a bfp for u

MovinOnUp · 11/06/2019 17:10

Thanks @Lovemartina2012, My friend is grabbing a couple of tests from the shops for me right now.
I'm going to try and hold off until morning before testing again.

We were supposed to be waiting until September to give my body a rest before trying again as I had two missed miscarriages within 6 months of each other, Last one being in February.Looks like that plan may have changed.

Did two tests this morning and both negative.

Sofin · 12/06/2019 09:09

False negatives are very common, but false positives generally don't happen unless you take some type of hormones, which contain HCG, or so I've read. So maybe try again tomorrow morning with first urine?

MovinOnUp · 12/06/2019 13:45

Any chance yesterdays test might just be an evaporation line rather than a positive?

Hmmmbop · 12/06/2019 16:31

Have you done another today with fmu?

movinonup · 12/06/2019 16:47

Yes, two this morning, first urine, both negative.

Looks very positive to me, if the test line came up in the time frame stated

Have you tested this morning with a different brand than the first one?

movinonup · 12/06/2019 17:07

It was a twin pack of the very same test as yesterday. Both lines (yesterday) did take ages to come up though!

OP posts:
Omzlas · 12/06/2019 18:37

I'd probably test in a couple of days, making sure you read the result within the time frame stated on the box / pack

TokenGinger · 12/06/2019 18:49

Given you said these lines took ages to appear, I suspect the later test which was negative is more accurate. This is likely an evap line.

Marty93 · 12/06/2019 20:03

This is a positive. I took some of these tests (99p from home bargains!) and one I peed directly onto the stick which took ages for the line to appear. The second one I dipped into urine and the line appeared much quicker and stronger. I then went and bought a clear blue which came back positive straight away :) congratulations!

MovinOnUp · 12/06/2019 20:26

Yup @Marty93 They are home bargain twin packs...well. one and a half twin packs!

Yup @Marty93 they are HB specials :)

How could one be positive in almost the middle of the day...Then get 2 negatives first thing in the morning? Chemical pregnancy?
