Anyone else experiencing pain and numbness in arms and hands? It's significantly worse at night and keeping me awake then struggling to grip things in the morning. I'm 33 weeks and guessing it's CTS?

I had this when I was pregnant. I found that how I slept (side, back etc.) helped and I used a lot of pillows to keep my spine straight while sleeping.

Try wearing splints especially at bedtime. I had CTS (unfortunately still not got hands back to pre pregnancy - they are still stiff!) Splints will help align your wrists. Mine got worse the closer I was to my due date.

No advice but just to say I’m the same ! Holding my phone up to type is making my hands tingle and my fingers hurt. And at night getting the numbness and pins and needles.

Are the splints easy to buy or did you have to see a doctor ?

I had this in my fist pregnancy, sorry to say it only marginally improved when I had my ds - but only affected my thumbs (this continued until I stopped breastfeeding at 15month)
In this pregnancy I'm getting numbness and cramping at night, but I'm only 23 weeks so might start later.
Last time I found drinking tonic water helped - it has quinnine in it, which is a natural inflammatory (and made me feel like I was having a g&t!!!)
Also, sleeping with hands under your pillow, stretched. Takes some getting used to but really does help.
First thing in the morning, I would have hot shower and stretch out my hands.

I'm struggling with this too! the doctor has diagnosed carpal tunnel and has said to take paracetamol and sleep wearing wrist splints which help, but don't solve it at all, its horrible and annoying as hell!

The MW said that I could be referred to physio and get splints but, luckily, a friend had some so lent them to me.
