34 weeks - Rhythmic gurgling top of belly

I've just experienced rhythmic gurgling coming from the top of my belly. I am 33 weeks. It was in a rhythm but nothing to do with my breathing. What could it be? It was really loud but I couldn't feel it. I experienced my first Braxton hicks today too.

Ooh! We're hoping it's a very talented baby! Never heard of this though. Maybe it's to do with the baby turning and your waters shifting about?

It wasn't just your lunch was it?

Maybe one to ask your midwife about.

Anyone else had this, Mumsnetters?

No I did think such things at the time but it was definitely in a rhythm as if with my breathing although it wasn't. The only thing I can describe is it was like snoring, altho I know it isn't that Grin

I think it's normally the baby hiccuping..... it can feel really strange at first but you soon get used to it! Smile

Baby gets hiccups a few times a day - this was completely different. It was loud slow spaced out rhythmic bubbles/gurgling coming from top of bump. It is difficult to explain or understand. I've asked mums who have had multiple pregnancies and they have listened to the recording and are equally baffled and have no idea Confused
